About

If you have been pondering whether a truly amazing and appropriately priced property would ever hit the market, your time has come!  Experience this one of a kind “wow” residence with unsurpassed, panoramic views of Vail and Beaver Creek from virtually every room of this elegantly remodeled townhome.  Even 3 out of 5 bathrooms have ski slope views so I really mean it when I say virtually every room.

The current owner spared no expense to make sure this property met its potential.  Architectural redesign, restructuring, and expansion of this property was masterfully executed to open up the main level to make it feel like you could step across onto the ski slopes all while basking in the sunlight.  Don’t worry about those long sunny summer days as air conditioning was added to keep you comfortable.

This home flawlessly brings the outdoors in by replacing most of the windows with larger windows for floor to ceiling glass.  The new fireplace was relocated off of the view wall to take the views from being incredible to being unsurpassed.   Walk in on the main level with a coveted two-car garage and only a few stops to deliver groceries to the kitchen island.  Each level of this end unit townhome has a spacious patio or deck.  One covered and heated patio with an enormous hot tub overlooking the epic views located just off the added family room.  The second deck off of the dining room has a heated patio with a gorgeous forged steel fire pit, similar to the fire pits throughout Vail Village.  Aprés ski in the outdoor hot tub and then come up and hang out around the outdoor fire pit.  Take a quick nap and then enjoy breaking bread with family and friends in the spacious open dining area while taking in the magical ambiance of the flickering fire pit in the distance across another Vail Mountain alpen glow evening.

The 3rd level rooftop deck is conveniently accessible from both the main house and the master bedroom for a perfect outdoor living room where you can wind down and watch the sunset or when you just want to feel like you are on top of the world. The master bedroom is an oasis on its own level with a bed wall that is perfectly situated for you to start the day off right by opening yours eyes to Vails ski slopes. The master bathroom has a spacious dual head shower, again with those same ski slope views calling out to you to start your day.  Your guests won’t feel they got the short end of the stick as each en suite guest room is located off the family room and have equally magnificent views.

Situated only minutes from Vail, this home offers luxury and sophistication in the highly sought after neighborhood of Potato Patch.  This residence is right near the entrance to Piney Ranch Road and National Forest (3/10’s of a mile) and is ideal for accessing snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter to expand your winter activities beyond Vail Mountain. For summertime excursions, only 11 miles to
Piney River Ranchfor the best of camping, hiking, paddle boarding, fishing, canoeing and horseback riding.

This is what a Colorado mountain retreat is all about!  The best of all worlds, ideal access to the amenities of Vail Village combined with the perfect access to one of the best locations that allows a wide variety of activities in the White River National Forest.

About the Area

Vail Village

The Town of Vail is surrounded by the White River National Forest and Vail Ski Resort: home to world class skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, golfing, shopping, and dining. The town of Vail has a total area of 4.5 square miles with the Gore Creek flowing through the center of town. Elevation average is around 8,150 feet above sea level and visible from the top of Vail Mountain is the world famous “Mount of the Holy Cross”. Nestled among the stunning mountains, meandering rivers and streams, lush forests, and aspen fields, Vail always feels intimate with splendid alpine villages and friendly people. Modeled on European ski towns, many of which are car-free, the town is partially pedestrianized. The Town of Vail operates the largest free shuttle bus system in the United States and has one hybrid-electric bus. With an incredibly well developed culinary center and a variety of restaurants, Vail is also developing a cultural center, with various art and music venues active throughout the summer. Ford Amphitheater hosts several key events throughout the summer.

Piney River Ranch is 11 miles off Potato Patch Drive in the Potato Patch area in Vail.  “Piney” as people often refer to it, is set on the edge of Piney Lake, and nestled at the foot of the majestic Gore Range, Piney River Ranch is a private, forty-acre Rocky Mountain retreat, long known as a favorite wedding and day-trip destination.   Piney is surrounded by thousands of acres of backcountry within the White River National Forest.  Piney offers a variety of activities from fly-fishing, hiking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, waterfalls or simply relaxing in the gorgeous natural environment.
